Embark Canine Genetic Testing

A DNA sample from your dog can be collected easily by a member of our team simply swabbing their cheek. Your account with Embark will be activated by CCAH when we start this process. We will send your dong's DNA sample to Embark’s labs and forward the results to you once they are completed.

Testing can be fun and also helpful as 75% of dogs are either at risk or carriers of genetic diseases. Armed with the knowledge from a screening of genetic health risks and an understanding of your dog’s breed mix and ancestry, we can better plan for the future and provide proactive care.
