If your pet has an emergency, you can trust CCAH to provide fast, comprehensive, and compassionate care. Our entire team has emergency medicine and surgical experience.

We know how stressful sudden illness and injury can be. Our team is trained in emergency care and we accept emergency appointments.

After hours, we answer our clinic phone (734-436-0455) 24 hours a day 7 days a week to address pet emergencies and offer emergency telemedicine (virtual) consults when available.

To accommodate patient and client needs, we offer urgent, same-day appointments as well as emergency day admission appointments.

Urgent Same Day Appointments

We hold time each day for unexpected illnesses so we can accommodate illness, injury, and other same-day emergent medical needs as they arise.

NOTE: There is an additional fee associated with same-day appointments due to the extra staffing required to care for these urgent medical needs.

Day Admission Appointments

To accommodate either your pet's medical condition or your schedule, we also offer Day Admission appointments. A technician will triage your pet's condition and communicate the veterinarian's recommendations. Please call CCAH at 734-436-0455 to determine if this type of appointment is best for your pet.

What Can I Expect During an Emergency Visit?

Your pet will be admitted to the hospital for evaluation, a technician will triage your pet's history and symptoms, and a doctor will examine your pet and develop a treatment plan. Your pet's technician will communicate exam findings and the veterinarian's recommendations. The treatment plan with associated fees will be provided.

NOTE: Your pet may be at the hospital for several hours while we address their concerns and complete their exam and treatments. A technician will help you schedule a discharge time as appropriate. There is an additional fee for same-day Day Admission appointments due to extra staffing required to care for these last-minute medical needs.
